Los Angeles Air Force Base Youth Services join CBYC for Summer Sailing Fun!
The Cabrillo Beach Youth Sailing Foundation has been working with our neighbors at the Los Angeles Air Force Base Youth Services for several years, giving kids who live in Fort MacArthur housing an opportunity to learn how to sail through the CBYC Junior Sailing summer program.
CBYC is proud to support the LAAFB Youth children involved in our summer sailing program. This year, due to COVID and the need to social distance, the Cabrillo Beach Youth Sailing Foundation offered 6 scholarships to the LAAFB youth for a two-week sailing session with Coach Gavin Sutherland. In the past we were able to hold larger classes and host more kids from LAAFB that were then able to mix in with other kids from the summer sailing program based on their age and experience.
